Kelly's Canter, Palmerston (16 October)
The Ariki team once again took the teams title, in the annual Kelly's canter 4km event, up and down Puketapu Hill in Palmerston. In lovely fine conditions, Dougal Thorburn, Stewart Paul, Russell Hurring, and Allan Williment, tackled the challenging climb and descent of the famous Palmerson hill. Theresa Hurring meanwhile walked the course, and Dougal Thorburn won the event.
