Ariki: Covid-19 Safety Plan 29/05/20
Hello Ariki members
The situation is we have compiled a safety plan as per above in line with the Athletics NZ/Worksafe request to do so as at late May as an athletics/harriers club.
The task of this brief is to tell you the club's plan. The result of these are the following to protect volunteers, members and visitors to our clubrooms.
Members are invited to request a full copy to be emailed to them. Please contact Nola on Crewe@xtra.co.nz if you require this. A hard copy of the safety plan will also be displayed on Saturdays in our clubrooms on the noticeboard.
Note: The Centre is currently comprising and getting reviewed their own plan for actual events.

- On arrival of the clubrooms: in the foyer we have someone to greet you and get your details for the contact tracing paper log, there we are supplying hand sanitiser, we encourage social distancing, wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands and we sanitise the high contact areas before the club and after the club and ask you to see and follow the 'Protect yourself re Covid-19' green poster public health message in the entrance window and hand washing posters in change rooms/toilet areas. However if you are unwell please stay at home. We request the users of the showers clean the shower. Note: We are not using the kitchen, and presently requesting members not bring food to share for afternoon tea, nor will we be providing hot drinks, or cold water. This can be reviewed in the future. In the meantime it is helpful that this reduces the needing of other high contact sanitising in the kitchen. You can bring a pre-filled water bottle and a snack for yourself of course.
- The result is we thank you for assisting the club with the above instructions. If you would like to put your hand up to volunteer to help a bit it would be welcomed.
